In March of 2018, renowned Indianapolis Stylist Philip Salmon, traveled with Seeds of Help to Huehuetenango Guatemala. The week’s goal was to give an overview of hair cutting skills to a group of enthusiastic young Guatemalan youth. The hope was to educate, and inspire them to start their own small businesses in their community. The week was jammed packed with education. Thankfully we had Peace Corp volunteer Natalie Saxon translating, who was such a great help. Once the week concluded, the group invited Philip to come back as they were so eager to learn more!
Indianapolis magazine Pattern, featured the class in the Fall 2019 edition.
