Development Programs | Community Organization
We help emerging community leaders gain the skills and resources they need to manage vital projects for their communities. This is the place most groups start. When an unorganized group comes to us for assistance, they often don’t know how to go about asking for help. We teach them how to organize their groups, create an administrative body, and create and manage projects. These classes are designed to aid in the seeking of further help from Seeds of Help Foundation, as well as from other NGO’s, and to enable them to manage community affairs themselves in an organized manner. We start with a small group within the main group by teaching them about creating and managing an organizational bank account as well as the roles and responsibilities of all the officers. We also teach them how to find out what organizations are most likely to support the types of projects in which the community is interested, and how to solicit help and funds from these sources.
