Development Programs | School Gardens
Similar to the family gardens, school gardens augment the often meager and unappetizing stale and processed food of the school with fresh and organic crops grown by the students. The students participate in all stages of these gardens and the food is used in their lunches and snacks. It provides them a good foundation for future gardening when the students leave the school and are on their own creating their own family gardens.
